Remote web based monitoring and controlling of a nonlinear process using micro controller

Abstract: Controlling of liquid level in Nonlinear spherical is a difficult task in industries. It is highly non linear because of its shape. This paper represents a micro controller based Nonlinear tank level monitor and controlling system using LabVIEW(Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench). Differential Pressure Transmitter (DPT) measures the level and it gives the corresponding analog voltage signal, further process is done with the micro controller. The data will be displayed on the LabVIEW GUI and LCD. The tank1 level will be controlled over the Internet.

Abstract: In today's world, actual record of fuel filled and fuel consumption in vehicles is not maintained. It results in a financial loss. To avoid this we are implementing for sensing the amount of fuel filled in the vehicle. So as soon as agent starts filling petrol in your bike/car, using the Loadcell. The basic Objective of this project is to know exact amount of the petrol remaining in the fuel tank and how much distance it can travel .Also we can find near by petrol pumps and also it will indicate that the petrol pumps are out of petrol or not .The graphical display will show how much fuel is there and how much was added as well and total amount of fuel in the fuel tank this will be evidence of any kind of cheating is done by the ones fillings the fuel. this will nearly eradicate any kind of tricks pulled off by the petrol pumps. This flow sensor will be active till flow ends. Once flow ends it will calculate the amount of fuel filled and directly notify on your Dashboard an IOT fuel monitoring system and the Many a times while travelling, people get stuck in the middle of nowhere due to an empty fuel tank. Our project aims at eliminating this problem by searching and showing the nearest petrol pump to the user. We have developed an android application

Abstract: A business associate in an organization may represent fraud as a series of disappointing business practices to help individuals. Therefore, it is an act to mask the other by covering real facts and presenting fake information and statements. Online manipulation is the biggest field that has been opened up. Online fraud has been more widespread as technical innovation coupled with internet penetration and resulting improvements have arisen. In terms of internet sales and valuation, e-commerce development is expressed. During the eight-year duration from 2008 to 2014, the overall volume of the trade rose from $268 billion to $ 1.5 trillion. The study carried out the quantitative approach in a questionnaire distribution across a given number of data collection respondents and has shown that financial crime and its success contribute directly. The findings indicated that the greater the fraud, the poorer the bank's performance, the more the online fraud appears to impact the financial performance of banks adversely.

Abstract: Controlling and monitoring a system in a cost efficient way is a challenge for residential and industrial grade liquid flow management systems as many of the sensors used in these systems are located remote, inaccessible locations. This project aims at creating a multipurpose solution for problem and a lab-view interface is used in conjunction with the Internet of Things (IOT) on-line console, instead of using a SCADA and power line communication interface. The data obtained is logged into the internet over a secure gateway and the obtained data is monitored using a Lab view interface on a PC based server .A brief outlook of using this system for the purpose of BTU measurement is provided at the end of this paper

Abstract: All companies aspire to compete against their rivals, retain a strategic edge in the industry, gain the largest market share and be inspired to bring out their utmost to achieve their desired goals at work. Few businesses think they will gain growth and wealth by important assets for their workers. Unfortunately, most companies appear to exploit the dismissal of their workers and talented applicants. Recognizing the critical position of workers appears to have a major effect on operational performance as most companies aim to maintain staff by empowering and enhancing the working standards of their employees. Therefore, it is necessary to enforce certain techniques to retain high quality and ensure performance and efficiency. The research examined the influence of organizational participation and encouragement in banks' work results. A study of 100 participants was tested, and findings were evaluated using the chi-square analysis. The findings revealed a substantial level below 5% which indicates that the study variables are closely linked. The quantitative approach and qualitative framework have been used to analyze their perception of the effects of job retention on the success of workers. Approach a single case study for various branches by implementing a similar case study and addressing a larger number of samples. This allows the researcher to remove the survey challenge and hold evidence from a larger community with a deeper comprehension of the idea of encouragement and how it influences workers' output.

Abstract: This paper gives an overview of data acquisition, data logging and supervisory control system of a plant consisting of multiple boilers. Data acquisition, data logging and supervisory control are the basic building blocks of plant automation. This paper takes a case study of plant consisting of multiple boilers where multiple process variables of the boilers need to be acquired from the field and monitored. The data of the process variables needs to be logged in a database for further analysis and supervisory control. A LabVIEW based data logging and supervisory control program simulates the process and the generated data are logged in to the database with proper indication about the status of the process variable.

Abstract: A real-time control of liquid level in a conical tank is studied. System identification of this nonlinear process and tuning of the fuzzy system are undertaken. Genetic algorithms are used to tune the membership functions of the fuzzy system. The results of the tuned fuzzy controller are compared to a proportional integral controller to evaluate the performance of the genetic algorithm tuned fuzzy controller.

Abstract: This paper focuses on the development and real time implementation of an intelligent optimisation method based on particle swarm optimisation (PSO) for the control of liquid level in a spherical tank. Control of liquid level in spherical tank is highly non-linear due to the variations in the area of cross section of the level system with height. System identification of the non-linear process is done using black box modelling and found to be first order plus dead time (FOPDT) model. Initially proportional integral (PI) controller based on Ziegler Nichols (ZN) settings is designed, the results are compared with internal model control (IMC) based on Skogestad's settings and PSO-based PI controller. The robustness of all the controllers is validated by imposing both servo and regulatory disturbances. The real time implementation of the process is done in Labview using USB-based DAQ module. Better controller performance can be envisaged by in the proposed methods using IMC-based PI controller and PSO-based PI controller than that of the ZN tuned PI controller.

Abstract: This paper presents the design and implementation of a remote experiment for controlling the level of a two-tank system. It describes also the management of the team work: it was performed in a remote collaborative methodology by two students of the fourth year of the Industrial Electronics Master Course at University of Minho (UM) and one student from the third year of the Industrial Informatics course of the Polytechnic Institute of Cavado and Ave (IPCA), both high education institutions in Minho region. It is a project work, implemented by undergraduate students and for future students use. The experiment is controlled using an on-off controller and a PID algorithm. The kit is monitored by a custom developed LabVIEW environment. The remote user can test the digital algorithms and parameters, change level reference values and register the output data.

Abstract: Through the Internet we can make the virtual experiments platform published on the web, sharing resources and avoid duplication of equipment purchased and waste of resources. A lot of data acquisition and wireless communication framework was developed based on the graphic programming platform of Lab VIEW. The system used the big and powerful Lab VIEW handling data and showing function to carry out a real-time processing, analysis and display. Two communication styles were given such as TCP/IP and Data Socket. When two computers run Lab VIEW at the same time, real-time date send and receive between computers by the interface of Virtual instrument, which can realize multi-machine wireless data transmission and reading, in order to complete remote data sharing and controlling.
