In this paper, a sufficient condition is proposed for asymptotically stabilizing the large-scale perturbed systems with a prescribed stability degree by using decentralized state-feedback controllers.Abstract:
The present paper is concerned with the decentralized stabilization problem for a class of large-scale systems with time-varying interconnected matrices and nonlinear uncertainties. A new sufficient condition is proposed for asymptotically stabilizing the large-scale perturbed systems with a prescribed stability degree by using decentralized state-feedback controllers. All the information needed here is only the possible bounds of the time-varying interconnected matrices and nonlinear uncertainties. This condition is shown to be less conservative than the ones reported recently. The results can be extended to a class of large-scale systems with delays. Two illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the superiority of the obtained results.read more

Robust non-fragile control for uncertain discrete-delay large-scale systems with a class of controller gain variations
TL;DR: The state feedback control design for robust stability is given in terms of solutions to a linear matrix inequality (LMI) because the solutions of the LMI can be easily obtained using efficient convex optimization techniques.

Decentralized optimal controller design for multimachine power systems using successive approximation approach
TL;DR: This approach is to transform the high order coupling nonlinear two-point boundary value (TPBV) problem into a sequence of linear decoupling TPBV problem, which uniformly converges to the optimal control for nonlinear interconnected large scale systems.

State-space solutions to standard H/sub 2/ and H/sub infinity / control problems
TL;DR: In this article, simple state-space formulas are derived for all controllers solving the following standard H/sub infinity / problem: for a given number gamma > 0, find all controllers such that the H/ sub infinity / norm of the closed-loop transfer function is (strictly) less than gamma.

TL;DR: In this article, simple state-space formulas are presented for a controller solving a standard H∞-problem, where the controller has the same state-dimension as the plant, its computation involves only two Riccati equations, and it has a separation structure reminiscent of classical LQG theory.
