Luminescence Study of Na6MnCl8 and Na6MnBr8 Microcrystals in NaCl and NaBr Lattices

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed study of the luminescence and excitation spectra as well as of the lifetime on Na6MnX8 (X = Cl, Br) precipitates in the 300 to 2 K temperature range is made.
Journal ArticleDOI

Outgassing from alpha particle irradiation of lithium hydride and lithium hydroxide

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of α-particle radiation on isotopically enriched lithium hydride (6 LiH) and its corrosion product lithium hydroxide ( 6 LiOH) to determine, in particular, the type and amount of gases evolved during irradiation was studied.

Saul Dushman, +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the scientific foundations of the vacuum technique were discussed and the following papers were published: Scientific foundations of vacuum technique, Scientific foundations for vacuum technique and its application in computer vision.
Journal ArticleDOI

Properties of lithium hydride. i. single crystals

TL;DR: The optical properties of LiH differ from those expected by a comparison with the properties of the alkali halides or the other alkali hydrides as discussed by the authors, due to distortion and polarization effects on the hydride ion in the LiH crystal lattice.
Journal ArticleDOI

Difference in conductivity between LiD and LiH crystals

TL;DR: In this paper, the LiD and LiH conductivities were compared in the temperature range 300-900 K in the presence of Schottky defects, and the results showed that LiD conductivities are smaller than those of LiH.
Journal ArticleDOI

Properties of lithium hydride—II optical absorption by color centers☆

TL;DR: In this paper, the optical properties of color centers involving trapped electrons in LiH have been investigated and it was shown that properties of the crystalline media other than the lattice parameter are important in relation to the energy of the optical absorption bands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrical Properties of Lithium Hydride

TL;DR: In this article, the Schottky vacancy pair formation and the energy of a positive ion vacancy for migration and for the association with a divalent cation impurity were obtained from the ionic conductivity curve.
