Abstract
The aim of the present study was to compare the psychological meaning of dying and committing suicide in Mexican university students. It was used an accidental non-random sample of 56 students of both sexes from a public university in the State of Mexico (Mexico). To get the psychological meaning of both words, there are used the natural semantic networks and quantitative techniques for handling the data. The results showed the unique meanings of each term, as well as the shared ones.
