TLDR
In this paper, a detailed and self-contained presentation of the replica theory of infinite range spin glasses is presented, paying particular attention to new applications in the study of optimization theory and neural networks.
Abstract
This book contains a detailed and self-contained presentation of the replica theory of infinite range spin glasses. The authors also explain recent theoretical developments, paying particular attention to new applications in the study of optimization theory and neural networks. About two-thirds of the book are a collection of the most interesting and pedagogical articles on the subject.

Community detection in graphs

TL;DR: A thorough exposition of community structure, or clustering, is attempted, from the definition of the main elements of the problem, to the presentation of most methods developed, with a special focus on techniques designed by statistical physicists.

Community detection in graphs

TL;DR: A thorough exposition of the main elements of the clustering problem can be found in this paper, with a special focus on techniques designed by statistical physicists, from the discussion of crucial issues like the significance of clustering and how methods should be tested and compared against each other, to the description of applications to real networks.

Statistical physics of social dynamics

TL;DR: In this article, a wide list of topics ranging from opinion and cultural and language dynamics to crowd behavior, hierarchy formation, human dynamics, and social spreading are reviewed and connections between these problems and other, more traditional, topics of statistical physics are highlighted.

The Kuramoto model: A simple paradigm for synchronization phenomena

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the Kuramoto model of coupled phase oscillators is presented, with a rigorous mathematical treatment, specific numerical methods, and many variations and extensions of the original model that have appeared in the last few years.

Evolutionary games on graphs

György Szabó, +1 more
- 01 Jul 2007 -
TL;DR: The major theme of the review is in what sense and how the graph structure of interactions can modify and enrich the picture of long term behavioral patterns emerging in evolutionary games.
