TLDR
The proposed imprecise model is formulated by considering two more realistic factors: the effect of a fear factor on the growth rate of prey population and non-linear harvesting of predator population.

An application of control theory for imperfect production problem with carbon emission investment policy in interval environment

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors developed a theory of optimal control in interval environment, where customers' demand is dependent on the selling price, specific absorption rate (SAR) of products and continuous time.

A systematic study of autonomous and nonautonomous predator–prey models for the combined effects of fear, refuge, cooperation and harvesting

TL;DR: In this paper , the roles of fear, refuge and hunting cooperation on the dynamics of a predator-prey system were investigated, where the predator population is subject to harvesting at a nonlinear rate.

Controlling of periodicity and chaos in a three dimensional prey predator model introducing the memory effect

TL;DR: In this paper , the memory effect is explained in terms of the order of the fractional derivative and the positivity and boundedness of the system solution are discussed in the text.
Journal ArticleDOI

An ecoepidemic seasonally forced model for the combined effects of fear, additional foods and selective predation

TL;DR: In this article , a predator-prey system is considered in which the prey population is infected from a parasite and the growth of susceptible prey is suppressed due to fear of predation.

The stability of dynamical systems

TL;DR: In this paper, an introduction to aspects of the theory of dynamical systems based on extensions of Liapunov's direct method is presented and the main ideas and structure for the theory are presented for difference equations and for the analogous theory for ordinary differential equations and retarded functional differential equations.

Fluctuations in the Abundance of a Species considered Mathematically

Vito Volterra
- 16 Oct 1926 -
TL;DR: In this paper, Lotka observed that he had obtained the differential equations in the case of two species, one of which feeds upon the other, and that he gave, as well as myself, the same diagram of the integral, and also the period in the cases of small fluctuations.

Modelling the fear effect in predator–prey interactions

TL;DR: A predator–prey model incorporating the cost of fear into prey reproduction is proposed, which shows that high levels of fear can stabilize the predator-prey system by excluding the existence of periodic solutions, but relatively low levels ofFear can induce multiple limit cycles via subcritical Hopf bifurcations, leading to a bi-stability phenomenon.

Stability analysis of a prey–predator model incorporating a prey refuge

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered a predator-prey model with a Holling type II response function incorporating a prey refuge and provided mathematical analysis of the model and discussed some significant qualitative results that are expected to arise from the interplay of biological forces.
