TLDR
The addition of protein doubled the half-life times of partially purified PMG, PG I and PG II and the interaction effect of pectolytic enzymes on deactivation was found to be significant.

Purification and characterisation of (S)-specific alcohol dehydrogenase from Candida parapsilosis ATCC 7330

TL;DR: In this article , the (S) -specific alcohol dehydrogenase (S-ADH) enzyme was purified from Candida parapsilosis ATCC 7330 and was found to be a tetramer in nature with subunit molecular mass of 40 kDa catalysing oxidation and reduction reactions only using NAD+ and NADH as the cofactors respectively with higher affinity for NAD+.

Optimisation of a stereoconvergent process catalysed by whole yeast cells

TL;DR: The uses and sources of enantiopure epoxides and vicinal diols are summarized while the application of the epoxide hydrolase enzyme as a biocatalytic route to the aforementioned products is discussed in more detail.

Antioxidant and beta-Galactosidase Inhibitory Studies of Methanolic Extract of Juniperus Phoenicea and Calicotome Villosa from Jordan

TL;DR: Thermodynamic approach shows an enzyme stable and suggests that inactivation mechanism is based on molecular structural changes, which means there are no significant processes of aggregation in leaves of Juniperus Phoenicea and C. Villosa.

Protein Measurement with the Folin Phenol Reagent

TL;DR: Procedures are described for measuring protein in solution or after precipitation with acids or other agents, and for the determination of as little as 0.2 gamma of protein.

The Activated Complex in Chemical Reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, the probability of the activated state is calculated using ordinary statistical mechanics, and the probability multiplied by the rate of decomposition gives the specific rate of reaction, and necessary conditions for general statistical treatment to reduce to the usual kinetic treatment are given.
