Synthesis, characterization, and antibacterial studies of mixed ligand dioxouranium complexes with 8-hydroxyquinoline and some amino acids

TL;DR: Mixed ligand complexes of dioxouranium (VI) of the type [UO2(Q)(L)·2H2O] have been synthesized using 8-hydroxyquinoline (HQ) as a primary ligand and amino acids such as L-threonine, L-tryptophan, and L-isoleucine as secondary ligands to study the antibacterial activity of the complexes.

The low frequency infrared and Raman spectroscopic studies of some uranyl complexes: the deformation frequency of the uranyl ion

TL;DR: In this article, a study of the low frequency vibrational spectra of compounds of the type L2UO2(NO3)2 (L)=mono-dentate ligand), MUO 2( NO3)3 (M) =monovalent cation, and CS2 UO2X4 (X = Cl or Br) has shown that the deformation frequency of the uranyl group occurs in the region 274 −245 cm−1 but detailed assignments of the U-O (nitrate) frequencies are not given since it

Schiff base complexes of oxocations—I Uranyl complexes with tetradentate optically active Schiff bases of salicylaldehyde

TL;DR: The synthesis and properties of uranyl complexes with tetradentate ligands of formula UO 2 (saldiamine) are discussed in this article, where electronic and circular dichroism spectra are also discussed.

On the Coupling Scheme in Uranyl Complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of equatorial ligation on the electronic structure of insular uranyl complexes has been investigated and the results showed that it lifted certain degeneracies of the free uranyl electronic energy levels and introduced variations in the corresponding transition probabilities.
