Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for offering a coupon using the customer transaction information are provided to extract the coupon to provide to a client according to the transaction information, and store the extracted coupon in a client area or provide the extracted coupon to the client by confirming the transaction information received to a PTD(Personal Trusted Device) from a coupon providing server. CONSTITUTION: The PTD(135) is equipped with an infrared settlement interface. A settlement processing terminal(140) transmits the settlement information to the PTD. The coupon providing server(100) receives the transaction information from the PTD and provides the coupon related to the transaction information to the customer. The coupon providing server comprises a transaction particulars receiver(105), a transaction particulars confirmer(110), a coupon extractor(115), a coupon provider(120), a coupon information database(125), and a coupon storing database(130).

The system is to identify a second account identifier of the user from the second user identifier based on the mapping data between the first user identifiers and the first account identifiers to facilitate targeted advertising using the profile of the user and/or to provide information about certain transactions of the user related to a previously presented advertisement.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computing apparatus is configured to facilitate the identification of a transaction resulting from an activity occurring in a substantially separate context or environment, such as an offline transaction in a “brick and mortar” retail store resulting from an online advertisement or an online search. The computing apparatus may match information about the activity and information about the transaction to correlate the online activity and the offline transaction. The matching process may involve the use of an offer for a discount, an incentive, a rebate, a reward, reward points, cash back, a gift, etc. The offer is to be provided in the advertisement associated with an online activity and redeemed in a payment transaction, processed via the transaction handler, to correlate the advertisement and the transaction.

The transaction handler is further configured to determine whether each of the plurality of transactions satisfies a predefined purchase requirement, identify a set of transactions each satisfying the predefined purchase requirement, and determine whether the set of transactions satisfies an aggregated purchase requirement for the benefit. In one example, the transaction handler is configured to provide the benefit via statement credits when the set of transactions satisfies the aggregated purchase requirement.

The advertisement provides an offer and includes a second portion which when selected directs the user to a website of an advertiser. The data warehouse is to store data associating the offer with the account data of the user in response to a request made in the user interface. The system is to monitor transactions processed at the transaction handler to identify a purchase paid via the account and eligible for the redemption of the offer. The transaction handler is to provide statement credits to the user, if the payment transaction is identified.

An estimation unit(400) reads the contents recorded in the electronic card(100) and estimates prices for the itemized statement. A central control unit(500) generates control signals for the showcase terminals(200), the article management unit(300) and the estimation unit(400). Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for coupon issue which issues individual coupons by users according to the purchase histories of the users. SOLUTION: When a user 1 buys an article, the identification number recorded on the ID card 11 that the user 1 carries is read by a POS register 21 and sent to a data analyzing server 31 through a terminal 22 together with the article code of the bought article. The data analyzing server 31 relates and stores the received identification number and article code, generates a coupon code having a discount article and a discount amount only for the user 1 based on the past purchase histories, and stores it relatively to the identification number. An individual coupon issuing machine 23 when reading the identification number out of the ID card 11 requests the coupon data corresponding to the identification number from the data analyzing server 31 through the terminal 22 and issues an individual coupon 12 according to the coupon data provided at the request.
