Abstract: Purpose – The authors review recent developments in online marketing strategy that demonstrate the growing power of online communities in building brand reputations and customer relationships.Design/methodologies/approach – This work draws upon the results of an ongoing research project that is investigating the use of new technologies by entrepreneurial growing businesses in the London area. A range of examples from our 30 case study businesses are drawn upon to illustrate some of the opportunities and threats associated with these new marketing priorities.Findings – The authors conclude that social networks will play a key role in the future of marketing; externally they can replace customer annoyance with engagement, and internally they help to transform the traditional focus on control with an open and collaborative approach that is more conducive to success in the modern business environment.Research limitations/implications – Further research should aim to track this activity as it integrates with m...

Abstract: paper examines the academic use made of the social networks by university students through a survey conduc- ted among a representative sample of students at Universidad de Malaga (Spain) (n=938) and two discussion groups. Given that network consumption has profoundly penetrated the daily routines of the students, the vast com- munication possibilities of these channels could be considered for educational use in the future despite a predomi- nance of entertainment-related use. We discuss the most suitable networks for academic use, which type of activities may be most widely accepted among the students and which social networking tools could be most useful for aca- demic purposes. The results indicate that consumption of social networks in the student population surveyed is very high. In addition, the students show a favourable attitude to lecturers using social networks as an academic resource. However, the frequency of use of such networks for academic activities was rather low and, on average, the most frequently used academic activities are those initiated by the students themselves, such as answering queries among peers or doing coursework. The perceived low academic support on social networks may mean that lecturers take only limited advantage of their potential.

Abstract: El objeto principal de esta 10a edicion es la incorporacion de la reforma del CP operada por la LO 1/2015, de 30 de marzo, que ha entrado en vigor el 1 de julio de este mismo ano. Ha afectado a numerosos preceptos del Codigo. En su mayoria corresponden a su Parte Especial, pero no son pocos los que aqui mas importan, los propios de la Parte General -como los relativos a la responsabilidad penal de las personas juridica y, muy especialmente, los que introducen la eufemisticamente la llamada "prision permanente revisable", que no es mas que una verdadera cadena perpetua dificilmente compatible con la Constitucion-. En segundo lugar, importaba actualizar tambien la jurisprudencia y la bibliografia. Por ultimo, se ha efectuado una revision general de la obra.
