Abstract: The paper is devoted to the study of labour productivity growth on the basis of labour hours management as a key resource of any company. Achieving the strategic goals that face the Russian economy requires the formation and implementation of new approaches to solve the problems of labour productivity growth. One of these approaches is effective time resource management. In this regard, the purpose of the study is to develop guidelines to improve productivity, taking into account the digital economy requirements on the basis of time resource management. Data collection monitoring and information study on the use of time resources in the surveyed enterprises, structure of labour hours costs and causes of losses allowed the authors to obtain reliable results of the study and to formulate reasonable conclusions. The authors developed a setup diagram of labour productivity increase due to the effective use of time resource. They determined the sequence of stages, specificated them, and established their relationship. The paper presents example of calculating possible productivity growth due to better use of working hours for one of the Samara enterprises and structures software products to account, analyse and evaluate the company’s time resource with their functionality description.

Abstract: The article discusses the issues of material interest of transportation personnel in the results of labor and their labor activity as a key factor in the growth of labor productivity. Given the limited nature of all types of resources, optimal growth rates and labor productivity in the short term can be achieved through the use of low-cost, but no less significant tools. The latter are a set of economic and managerial tools and methods of labor productivity management at the enterprise in the specific organizational and technical conditions of production. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for increasing labor productivity by increasing labor activity and material interest of transportation personnel in the results of activities. The basis of this study was the scientific works of domestic and foreign authors and practical experience in the application of low-cost methods of increas-ing labor productivity, which are an obligatory part of doing business. The article presents the author’s structural and logical scheme for improving the organization of material incentives and its impact on the growth of labor productivity through the realization of the material interest of transportation workers. The sequence of stages is determined, their concretization is given, their interconnection is established. The article presents the results of the study of the motivational profile of the personnel of the Samara transport enterprise and the algorithm for the development of a new system of material incentives.

Abstract: The aim of this article is to try to identify the key explanatory factors that might play a role in lean production (LP) adoption. Qualitative methodology has been used to achieve this goal, specifically a case study research in the aerospace sector. The results show that there are series of factors that have trigged the adoption of LP and others that affect the success of the adoption decision, such as a deep-rooted culture of total quality, the role of top management, a lean organisational structure, the lean leader role and institutional support. We have also identified two control factors in the adoption process, unionisation and people's initial scepticism and resistance. The analysis conducted has been used to develop a LP adoption model that includes the factors that were detected and their respective interrelationships.
