Oscillator-To-Oscillator Codes Do Not Have a Threshold

TL;DR: In this paper , it was shown that a general lower bound on the logical error probability is only a function of the amount of squeezing and independent of the number of modes, and that any physically implementable family of oscillator-to-oscillator codes combined with maximum likelihood error decoding does not admit a threshold.

Some approximate pairwise-efficient multiple-comparison procedures in general unbalanced designs

TL;DR: A tribute must also go to my talented typist, Mrs. Delores Gold as discussed by the authors, who was a friend and advisor to this work, as well as to Professor P. K. Sen.
Journal ArticleDOI

A note on the comparison of stationary laws of Markov processes

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors introduced an order relation for probabilities measuring the degree of concentration around zero and derived a result connecting this degree with properties of the functions T i and the distribution of { Z n }.
Journal ArticleDOI

Combinatorial stochastic processes

TL;DR: In this paper, the central limit theorem for sums of independent stochastic processes is extended to permutation processes and randomized trials, and the general results, a uniform Law of Large Numbers and a functional Central Limit Theorem, are applied.

Asymptotic Theory of Certain "Goodness of Fit" Criteria Based on Stochastic Processes

TL;DR: In this article, a general method for calculating the limiting distributions of these criteria is developed by reducing them to corresponding problems in stochastic processes, which in turn lead to more or less classical eigenvalue and boundary value problems for special classes of differential equations.

The Cramer-Smirnov Test in the Parametric Case

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extended the Cramer-Smirnov and von Mises test to the parametric case, a suggestion of Cramer [1], see also [2].
