Synthesis and dynamic nuclear magnetic resonance studies of pentafluorobenzenethiolate complexes of molybdenum and tungsten. The crystal and molecular structures of [W(SC6F5)3(CO)(η5-C5H5)]•O.5CH2Cl2 and [N(PPh3)2][Mo(SC6F5)4(η5-C5H5)]
TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction between [WBr 3 (CO) 2 (η 5 -C 5 H 5 )] and excess of Tl(SC 6 F 5 ) affords Tl[WBr 2 (CO), η 5 −C 5H 5 )] (2b) as the major product and [W(SC6F 5 ) 3 ( CO), Δ − 5 − C 5 H5 )] (3) as minor product.

Synthesis, structure, and bonding of fulvene complexes of titanium, molybdenum, and tungsten
Judith A. Bandy,Victor S. B. Mtetwa,Keith Prout,Jennifer C. Green,Cathryn E. Davies,Malcolm L. H. Green,Nicholas J. Hazel,Alejandro Izquierdo,Jesus J. Martin-Polo +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the crystal structures of the compounds where M = Mo, R = H, R′= Me or Ph; M = W, R=Me, R'n = Me, R 'n'n=Me or Ph, and [Ti(σ,η5-C5H4CPh2)2] have been determined and reveal that the exocyclic carbon of the fulvene ligands is strongly bent out of the plane of the C5-ring carbons and bonds directly to the metal.
