TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a survey of the Molybdenum chemistry and its application in various areas of industry, such as mining, automotive, agriculture, and economic aspects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solvatochromism of Mono- and Dimolybdenum Coordination Compounds of Dipyridyloctatetraene and Linear Solvation Energy Relationship Models Based on the Kamlet-Taft and Drago Scales of Solvent Polarity.
TL;DR: The heteroleptic molybdenum complexes have been analyzed quantitatively by means of linear solvation energy relationships based on Kamlet-Taft solvatochromism parameters, as well as on Drago's "unified scale of solvent polarity".
Journal Article
Synthesis and dynamic nuclear magnetic resonance studies of pentafluorobenzenethiolate complexes of molybdenum and tungsten. The crystal and molecular structures of [W(SC6F5)3(CO)(η5-C5H5)]•O.5CH2Cl2 and [N(PPh3)2][Mo(SC6F5)4(η5-C5H5)]
TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction between [WBr 3 (CO) 2 (η 5 -C 5 H 5 )] and excess of Tl(SC 6 F 5 ) affords Tl[WBr 2 (CO), η 5 −C 5H 5 )] (2b) as the major product and [W(SC6F 5 ) 3 ( CO), Δ − 5 − C 5 H5 )] (3) as minor product.

Journal ArticleDOI
Studies on olefin-coordinating transition metal carbene complexes
TL;DR: In this article, the reaction of cycloheptatriene(tricarbonyl)-molybdenum (I) and -chromium (II) with aryllithium, in ether at low temperature, and subsequent alkylation of the acylmetallate formed with Et3OBF4 in aqueous solution at 0°C, gave 10 crystalline complexes with the compositions C7H8(CO)2MoC(OC2H5)Ar (IV-VII), C7 H8( CO)2CrC
Journal ArticleDOI
Sterically-induced rearrangements of the tripodal ligand HB(PriMeC3N2H)3 in some molybdenum mononitrosyl derivatives
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that 1 H NMR studies show that the complexes with X = I and Y = OPr i, OBu t, NHPh, NHC 6 H 4 -4 -4-Me undergo rearrangement reactions at elevated temperature to give selectively a single isomer.
Journal ArticleDOI
