Nach Verfutterung von Rindertalg enthaltendem Kraftfutter wurden Kennzahlen und Fettsaure-Zusammensetzung des Schweinefettes bestimmt. Es zeigt sich, das bei Verwendung von Fett geeigneter Zusammensetzung in der Schweinezucht die Mastzeit verkurzt wird, ohne Menge, Eigenschaft und Zusammensetzung nachteilig zu beeinflussen. Vom analytischen Standpunkt aus konnen sich bei der Reinheitskontrolle durch die Veranderung der Fettsaure-Zusammensetzung Schwierigkeiten ergeben.



Changes of Lard by Feeding of Beef Tallow Containing Concentrated Feed



After feeding beef tallow containing concentrated feed the characteristic values and the fatty acid composition of pig fat were determined. It was shown that by the application of fat of appropriate composition in pig breeding the feeding time is lowered without detrimental influence on amount, properties and composition. From analytical point of view difficulties may appear during the purity control through the changes of fatty acid composition.
