The influence of concentration on the formation of BaTiO3 by direct reaction of TiCl4 with Ba(OH)2 in aqueous solution

TL;DR: In this paper, the formation of fine BaTiO 3 particles by reaction between liquid TiCl 4 and Ba(OH) 2 in aqueous solution at 85°C and pH⩾13 has been studied for 0.51 mol l −1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Creep and plasticity of glacier ice: a material science perspective

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the plastic deformation of the ice single crystal and polycrystal is produced by intermittent dislocation bursts triggered by long-range interaction of dislocations, which are associated with the formation of dislocation patterns in the form of slip lines and slip bands.

The crystallization kinetics of polyethylene under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between isothermal and non-isothermal crystallization kinetics in high-density polyethylene was investigated and a time-temperature-transformation diagram was produced.

Core-shell Ni3N@Nitrogen-doped carbon: Synthesis and application in MgH2

TL;DR: In this article, a core-shell Ni 3 N@N-doped carbon composites were synthesized by a facile sol-gel and heat-treatment process and the hydrogen storage properties of the composites are investigated using isothermal dehydrogenation apparatus and temperature-programmed desorption system.

NiSi2 precipitation in nickel-implanted silicon films

TL;DR: In this article, the formation of nickel silicide in amorphous silicon thin films was investigated and it was found that during annealing, precipitates of NiSi2 form in the interior of the film.
