High-strength Zr-based bulk amorphous alloys containing nanocrystalline and nanoquasicrystalline particles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reviewed the properties of the nanocrystalline and nano-quasicrystalline Zr-based bulk alloys and found that the mechanical strength and ductility of the nonequilibrium phase bulk alloy are significantly improved by the formation of the nano-structures as compared with the corresponding amorphous single phase alloys.
