TLDR
In this paper, the wear of sintered aluminium powder (SAP) against SAP in nitrogen gas and in liquid terphenyl was investigated, and it was found that adhesion and metal transfer take place irrespective of the nature of the vibration pattern applied.

Impact wear of MgO single crystals I. Wear characteristics

TL;DR: In this paper, the impact wear characteristics of MgO single crystals were investigated using an impact testing machine provided with a sintered alumina hammer having a tip radius of 2 mm.

Experimental Study on Fretting Wear of Inconel 690 Under High Temperatures and Pressures

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the work rate and temperature on fretting wear was investigated in a nuclear power plant, and the wear coefficient at room temperature was larger than that at low temperature in water because of the dynamic viscosity of water.

Modeling and Simulation of Missile Launcher System Wear During Captive Carry

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a wear model for the simulation of wear in rattling contacts with a simple shaker table fixture of a square tube with a free-floating cube inside it.

Au-Sb and Au-Ag-Sb alloys as low-voltage contact materials

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have shown that the increase in contact resistance of lowvoltage noble-metal electrical contacts with the number of on-off switch cycles is primarily due to carbon build-up on the contact surfaces.
