TLDR
In this paper, an annular reactor packed with matrices in which the catalysts/enzyme/microorganisms are immobilized, has been simulated and the results indicate that the overall resistance and hence the conversion depend upon the Thiele modulus and another parameter, α.

Continuous esterification to produce biodiesel by SPES/PES/NWF composite catalytic membrane in flow-through membrane reactor: Experimental and kinetic studies

TL;DR: The results showed that the CCM structure had a significant effect on the acid conversion, and the conversions obtained from the model are in good agreement with the experimental data.

Packed bed catalytic membrane reactors

TL;DR: In this article, a general catalytic packed bed membrane reactor model was proposed for the thermodynamic properties of the thermodynamics of the steam reforming and the ethane dehydrogenation.

An improved theoretical model for hollow-fiber enzyme reactors

TL;DR: In this paper, an analysis of hollow-fiber enzyme reactors is presented, for first-order kinetics, which leads to explicit expressions for the concentration fields on both the enzyme and substrate sides.

Zeolite membrane reactor for isobutane dehydrogenation : Experimental results and theoretical modelling

TL;DR: In this paper, a packed-bed zeolite membrane reactor using Pt-In catalyst was used for dehydrogenation of isobutane, and two sweeping modes were studied, namely the co-current and the countercurrent modes.

Ethylene epoxidation in a catalytic packed-bed membrane reactor

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of different membrane reactors for the epoxidation of ethylene was compared with that of a conventional fixed-bed reactor (FBR), under identical overall reaction conditions, using a cesium-doped silver catalyst supported on α-alumina.
