Theorizing religious socialization: a critical assessment

The concept of religious socialization remains a widely used concept amongst scholars who direct attention to the social patterns that underline the formation of religious attitudes as discussed by the authors. But, as discussed in this paper, it is not a suitable approach for the study of the social formation of attitudes.
