Validation of integer and fractional order PI controllers for a real time non linear process

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to design and validate the performance of a PI controller using Ziegler Nichol's (ZN) tuning method, Skogested tuning method and Fractional Order (FO) tuning method for a Single Spherical Tank Liquid Level System (SSTLLS) whose modelling has been done in real time. Mathematical modelling of the system is done assuming the system to be a Single Input Single Output (SISO) model. One of the major problems in process industries is to control of process parameters for First Order Plus Time Delay (FOPTD) system because the presence of time delay in the system can lead to destabilization of the system. This paper briefly explains about stabilizing problem for FOPTD using a Fractional Order Proportional Integral (FOPIλ) controller. These controllers are compared in terms of performance indices like Integral Squared Error (ISE) and Integral Absolute Error (IAE) and time domain specifications like Rise time, Settling time and Peak time with other methods of PI tuning. The validation of the performance of the designed controllers is performed under MATLAB environment.

Abstract: A business associate in an organization may represent fraud as a series of disappointing business practices to help individuals. Therefore, it is an act to mask the other by covering real facts and presenting fake information and statements. Online manipulation is the biggest field that has been opened up. Online fraud has been more widespread as technical innovation coupled with internet penetration and resulting improvements have arisen. In terms of internet sales and valuation, e-commerce development is expressed. During the eight-year duration from 2008 to 2014, the overall volume of the trade rose from $268 billion to $ 1.5 trillion. The study carried out the quantitative approach in a questionnaire distribution across a given number of data collection respondents and has shown that financial crime and its success contribute directly. The findings indicated that the greater the fraud, the poorer the bank's performance, the more the online fraud appears to impact the financial performance of banks adversely.

Abstract: All companies aspire to compete against their rivals, retain a strategic edge in the industry, gain the largest market share and be inspired to bring out their utmost to achieve their desired goals at work. Few businesses think they will gain growth and wealth by important assets for their workers. Unfortunately, most companies appear to exploit the dismissal of their workers and talented applicants. Recognizing the critical position of workers appears to have a major effect on operational performance as most companies aim to maintain staff by empowering and enhancing the working standards of their employees. Therefore, it is necessary to enforce certain techniques to retain high quality and ensure performance and efficiency. The research examined the influence of organizational participation and encouragement in banks' work results. A study of 100 participants was tested, and findings were evaluated using the chi-square analysis. The findings revealed a substantial level below 5% which indicates that the study variables are closely linked. The quantitative approach and qualitative framework have been used to analyze their perception of the effects of job retention on the success of workers. Approach a single case study for various branches by implementing a similar case study and addressing a larger number of samples. This allows the researcher to remove the survey challenge and hold evidence from a larger community with a deeper comprehension of the idea of encouragement and how it influences workers' output.

Abstract: In the finance sector, time series forecasting has been widely used in situations such as stock prices forecasting and equity market forecasting. In recent years, techniques of computer vision include become increasingly popular in the monetary assumption of periodicity. A hot subject is how to mark information from macroeconomic variables to assess the accuracy rate of computer vision techniques and, as a result, final investment returns. Existing information from macroeconomic variables labelling methods primarily mark data and comparing current data to data from a limited period in the future. Information from a macroeconomic variable, on the other hand, are often quasi, with apparent unpredictability in the brief period. As a result, such tagging methods struggled to identify the time series analysis information’s persistent trend functionality, resulting in a misalignment among their pigeonhole results and actual market inclination. A new pigeonhole approach called “continuous trend labeling” is proposed in this paper to fix the issue. This article presents a novel feature preprocessing tack that avoids taking a gander distortion that plagues continuous data consistency and preprocessing approaches. The principle of constant trend marking and an advanced tagging framework for removing consistent trend characteristics from time-series data were then presented, along with a detailed logical explanation. Experiments on the ensembled model yielded a scoring accuracy of 52 percent, which was close to the Cagliari teams. The results were determined by combining all of the networks' ratings. Even though it appears to be a low percentage, being right on a trade position more than 50% of the time is considered good, particularly when looking at the data in isolation. Our labelling system is significantly superior to classifiers and other identification evaluation measures; province tagging approaches are used. According to the observations of the study, word embeddings like LSTM and GRU are suitable to finance related time series data prediction.

Abstract: This paper presents a new strategy for tuning PID controllers based on a fractional reference model. The model is represented as an ideal closed-loop system whose open-loop is given by the Bode’s ideal transfer function. The PID controller parameters are determined by the minimization of the integral square error (ISE) between the time responses of the desired fractional reference model and of the system with the PID controller. The resulting closed-loop system (with the PID controller) has the desirable feature of being robust to gain variations with step responses exhibiting an iso-damping property. Several examples are presented that demonstrate the effectiveness and validity of the proposed methodology.

Abstract: In this paper, Fractional Order Proportional Integral Derivative Controller (FOPID) is designed for liquid level control of a spherical tank which is modeled as a First Order Plus Dead Time (FOPDT) system about an operating point. The response of designed FOPID controller is compared with the traditional integer order PID (IOPID) controller in simulation and with IOPI controller on experimental setup. The PIλDμ controller is designed using minimization of Integral Square Error (ISE) method. This method offers a practical and systematic way of the controllers design for the considered class of FOPDT plant. From the simulation and experimental results presented, the designed fractional order controller works efficiently with improved performance comparing with the integer order controller.

Abstract: The interactions between input/output variables are a common phenomenon and the main obstacle encountered in the design of multi-loop controllers for interacting multivariable processes. In this paper, a method for controlling multivariable processes is presented. The controller design is divided into two parts: firstly, a decoupling matrix is designed in order to minimize the interaction effects. Then, the controller design is obtained for the process + decoupler block. The aim is to meet the design specifications for each loop independently. This method for multivariable decoupling and multiloop PID controller is applied to Two Tank Conical Interacting System (TTCIS). This TTCIS is considered as two tank benchmark problem used by many researchers. Simulation results and experimental results with TTCIS are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method.
