The requirements listed here provide a guide for anyone looking to become an effective instructional designer capable of making use of current and emerging software and hardware technologies.
We found that both knowledge and experience are only necessary but not sufficient conditions for a developer to become an expert, and an expert would necessarily have to possess adequate soft skills.
Findings reveal faculty and student experiences with the software as well as aspects of their experiences within the field, and also suggest how other software programs can be developed and used for education.
The authors believe this method of teaching can increase student satisfaction while learning commercial CAD/CAM software widely used in automotive industry.
