The research shows that carve-out education can enhance entrepreneur intention indirectly by updating students’ knowledge, cultivating their entrepreneurial abilities and reinforcing their determination.
Locus of control, self efficacy and intention to become an entrepreneur were validated for respondents who had some business background, indicating the relevance of business experience.
A descriptive analysis shows, first, that graduates who start their own business have different profiles in relation to elements leading to their occupational decision after graduation; and, second, that labour market status achieved by entrepreneur graduates implies relatively more demanding activities, higher earnings and higher job satisfaction than non-entrepreneur graduates.
A conclusion can be reached that the obtained result shows the importance of the subject of entrepreneurship for the democratization of the entrepreneur culture, expansion of the professional teaching and the technological development.
