Can sinusitis cause noise sensitivity?

This suggests that noise sensitivity is related to poor health outcomes rather than being a trait marker of susceptibility to health problems in general.

However, this association is not strong enough to be used in the diagnosis of chronic sinusitis because of poor sensitivity.

There was no indication of increased sensitivity to general noise exposure, but as always in sensorineural high frequency hearing loss avoidance of significant exposure to noise is to be recommended.
