As further contribution, we show how our PLP concept can be used as a flexible tool for enhancing tempo estimation and beat tracking.
Further, this drop in background noise and reverberation time understates the dramatic impact of the change.
We show that both algorithms improve the performance of a beat detection algorithm when applied in high noise conditions.
Furthermore, significant interaction effects involving beat locations of tempo change suggest that differential rhythmic groupings may be a factor in tempo discrimination.

Why students exhibit low resilience during the war time?
5 answers
Students exhibit low resilience during war times due to the significant impact of exposure to violence and conflict on their psychological well-being. Research indicates that traumatic events, such as being in war zones or temporarily occupied territories, can lead to the insufficient development of psychological self-defense mechanisms, affecting resilience. Studies also show that adult participants, including teachers and parents, displayed reduced resilience compared to young individuals like students. Additionally, the presence of high levels of anxiety and depression among war-affected students further contributes to their lower resilience levels. Furthermore, the use of defense mechanisms like repression and projection, along with a lack of future orientation, can hinder the development of resilience in young people during war times.
Why lightness and darkness of color of clothes consider in buying a clothes?
4 answers
The lightness and darkness of colors in clothing choices are crucial due to sensory correspondences affecting consumer behavior. Research shows that light-colored products positioned in upper shelves enhance visual fluency, influencing purchase decisions positively. Additionally, in the fashion industry, wearing dark clothes can create a slimming effect, supported by empirical evidence. Conversely, the impact of color on preferences is evident in studies on black fabrics, where observers tend to prefer bluish-cyanish blacks over neutrals, influenced by lightness and chroma values. Furthermore, for visually impaired women, beauty services and aesthetics play a significant role in expressing individual tastes and styles, enabling them to navigate societal visibility and self-expression. Overall, the consideration of lightness and darkness in clothing choices is multifaceted, impacting consumer behavior, visual perception, and self-expression.
How does AI technology contribute to student plagiarism?
4 answers
AI technology, particularly tools like ChatGPT, has significantly impacted student plagiarism. The ease of access to AI-generated content has made it tempting for students to use such tools to create assignments that can bypass plagiarism checkers. Studies have shown that students find it less unethical to plagiarize from AI compared to human-generated material, attributing this to differences in perceived ownership of the content. ChatGPT has demonstrated the ability to produce sophisticated and original text that can evade traditional plagiarism detection tools, raising concerns about academic integrity. Educators face the challenge of detecting and preventing AI-facilitated plagiarism, necessitating a reevaluation of assessment methods to combat this growing issue.
•What research findings exist regarding the correlation between online gaming and academic performance?
5 answers
Research findings from various studies indicate a correlation between online gaming and academic performance. Studies have shown that online gaming can impact students' academic performance. The frequency of online gaming has been found to have a certain impact on academic performance, with gender also playing a role. Additionally, preferences for different types of online games among students have been linked to attitudes, behaviors, and academic performance. Furthermore, research has highlighted a negative association between gaming disorder and student engagement, with gaming disorder negatively predicting cumulative GPA. Factors such as time spent gaming, gender, attendance, number of close friends, and career preferences have been identified as significant predictors of academic performance among Filipino students who play online games.
What are some related studies about the effect of high pricing on people specially unfortunate?
5 answers
Studies have explored the impact of pricing on various populations, including those facing challenges. One study in a rural African population found that exposure to drought increased average discount rates by 42-47%, indicating a link between shocks like drought and high discount rates. Another study highlighted that higher cigarette prices could reduce smoking rates in older adults, potentially decreasing the risk of smoking-related diseases in this vulnerable group. Additionally, research on price-quality perceptions revealed that higher prices often lead to increased expectations of quality and liking, known as the marketing placebo effect, although this effect may not consistently translate into actual perceived quality and liking. Understanding these dynamics is crucial for policymakers and marketers aiming to address the impact of pricing on disadvantaged populations.
What is the current state of research on the impact of ChatGPT on student learning and academic performance?
5 answers
Current research indicates that ChatGPT positively influences student learning and academic performance. Studies show that students perceive ChatGPT as a valuable learning tool, enhancing their understanding of difficult concepts and providing relevant study materials. Furthermore, ChatGPT has been found to improve students' self-efficacy, solution quality, and originality in problem-solving tasks, making task resolution easier and requiring less mental effort. However, challenges exist, such as the potential risk to academic integrity when using ChatGPT for examinations and written assignments. While ChatGPT shows promise in enhancing learning outcomes, further research is needed to explore its generalizability across different academic disciplines and to address limitations and ethical considerations associated with its use in education.
"Challenges faced by women holding managerial position" marginalisation rrl?
4 answers
Women holding managerial positions face various challenges such as gender discrimination, stereotyping, harassment, organizational culture issues, gender inequality, and perceived incompetence. These challenges impact their performance, participation, and overall experience in leadership roles. Factors like the under-representation of women in educational management positions due to socio-cultural beliefs and internal/external barriers also contribute to the challenges faced by women in leadership roles. Additionally, external factors like the glass ceiling, discrimination at the workplace, and unfriendly organizational policies, along with internal factors like work-life balance and personal capabilities, present significant challenges for women in managerial positions. Gender barriers, unfair HR policies, and the struggle for work-family balance further hinder women's progress in top management roles, affecting organizational justice, commitment, and ultimately performance.
What are the roles of SHS strands?
5 answers
The roles of SHS strands encompass various aspects such as simplifying processing of sinterable powders, achieving higher homogeneity of powders and sintered products, producing porous metallic and composite materials, fabricating targets and electrodes for thin film deposition on implants, and synthesizing inorganic pigments cost-effectively. SHS is utilized for creating nanopowders for medical applications, generating biocompatible coatings, and consolidating refractory ceramic powders efficiently. The combination of SHS with Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) technologies proves beneficial in achieving densification of materials like MB2-based ceramics. SHS plays a crucial role in promoting diffusion phenomena during SPS by establishing strong interfaces among different phases. Overall, SHS strands play pivotal roles in diverse applications ranging from material synthesis to coating depositions and pigment production.
