The data suggests significant effects of the audio interface system.
We propose an "elastic" audio slider which is especially useful for temporary manipulation of replay speed and which integrates seamlessly into standard interface designs.
Unlike a visual interface, this audio interface allows an operator to (1) perceive information even if pay small attention for it, and (2) easily identify trends and changes.
Our AMP control adjusts the playout interval based on an estimation of channel quality, so it is more adaptive than conventional AMP controls that are based on buffer fullness.
Deictic interaction with a spatial audio display is found to be a feasible solution for future interface designs.

The 86 participants enabled us to draw a relatively accurate picture of how the field is perceived and helped to identify problems in the design of efficient audio in the user interface.
This way of pointing to specific parts of an audio stream allows a user to perform audio selections which would have been infeasible otherwise.
In this regard, the SpeechSkimmer article is particularly important in that it address new user interface paradigms for dealing with stored audio.
Therefore, we propose an audio information presentation method that takes into account the user contexts.
The developed audio interface is light and low-noise and can operate without being connected to an external power supply, thereby making it suitable for street musicians.

Through informal user studies, we demonstrate that our interface greatly facilitates the audio authoring process in various scenarios.
In this paper we present a novel interface for selecting sounds in audio mixtures.
We improved the interface circuitry by using signal transformers, so that it is now possible to make accurate measurements using a commonly available low-cost audio- interface.
