We demonstrate the importance of several of these characteristics with results from a peer-to-peer human-robot team engaged in a treasure hunt task.
To our knowledge, these results show the first, full implementation of a CMM on a large multi-robot team.

Simulation results illustrate how the proposed method works in different scenarios and show how informed decisions can be made regarding the size of the robot team.
This result supports the hypothesis that human-robot team performance is improved when a robot emulates the effective coordination behaviors observed in human teams.
The results demonstrate that humans not only accept robot autonomy in the interest of the team, but also view the robot more as a team member and find it easier to interact with, despite a very minimalist graphical/speech interface.
The end result of this research will help support the development of a human-robot language that enhances shared mental models among team members, and produce better interactions between human-robot teams.
Here, previous results that where achieved for a team of robots linked to a basestation are significantly extended to also cover robot packs, i. e., multi-robot teams that are not permanently tied to an operator's station.
The proposed task allocation mechanism was tested in the multi‐robot team task allocation simulation. Findings – The social networks‐based task allocation algorithm has performed according to expectations and the obtained results are very promising.
