In this work, we propose such tool relying only on high-level statistics of servers' usage, such as volumes and times of interactions with the servers.
This paper introduces a clients–providers–servers model that better represents certain environments than the traditional clients–servers model.
Qualitative data from five illustrative restaurants show that male and female servers in integrated staffs “do gender” by performing gendered service styles.
The specific approach shaves 19.4% of the peak power for modern servers, at no cost in performance, allowing the installation of 24% more servers within the same power budget.
We illustrate, with examples, that well established resource models, such as supply bound function and models from Real-Time Calculus, do not tightly characterize servers.
