This study intends to help medical practitioners to detect computed tomography (CT) Scans of lungs infected with COVID-19.
We propose that several of the COVID-19 disease features are due to the persistence of virus-infected cells in the lungs of the infected individuals for the duration of the disease.
The technique is useful for the clinical practitioners for early detection of COVID-19 infected patients.

As the number of patients infected by COVID-19 increases worldwide, and in the absence of appropriate therapeutic drugs or vaccines, it is essential to detect patients with COVID-19 pneumonia at its early stages, in order to isolate the patients from healthy population.
