The measured results demonstrate that the proposed charge pump circuit has very high voltage pumping efficiency without overstress.
Therefore, the multistage pumping station optimization method was more suitable to reduce the frequency of pump start-up/shutoffs.
The ratio of the time constant of the capacitor to the cycle time of the pump is shown to be an accurate indicator of capacitor performance and a useful design tool.
The proposed research provides the instruction to design of novel piezoelectric pump and a rapid method to analyse the pump flow rate.
The presented analysis gives a suitable criterion for properly sizing the charge pump capacitors, which allows the charge pump performance to be optimized.
