Does some ADAS require more updates than other ADAS?
5 answers
Some Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) may require more frequent updates than others based on their design and functionality. For instance, a method proposed involves updating an ADAS system by reconfiguring a Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based on real-time driving environment data received through Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) messages. On the other hand, the Atomic Data and Analysis Structure (ADAS) system, used in fusion and astrophysical environments, has been extended to address the needs of ITER, focusing on handling heavy atomic species data for diagnostic spectral analysis and large-scale fundamental data production. These variations in update requirements highlight the diverse nature of ADAS systems and the specific demands of different applications.
How can exposure to robots be measured?

What is the state of the art in biderictional HRI?
5 answers
The state of the art in bidirectional Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) encompasses various innovative approaches. Multimodal HRI, integrating modalities like voice, image, text, and bio-signals, is crucial for natural and flexible interaction. Movement-supported HRI for bipedal humanoid robots considers lower limb movement's impact on interaction, ensuring stable movement during HRI through reinforcement learning and intention recognition networks. In household service robotics, effective and natural HRI designs are essential, with researchers proposing principles, algorithms, and systems for domestic environments. Mixed Reality (MR) technology is suggested to enhance mobile robot acceptance and interaction by visualizing robot data, notifying users, and enabling remote operation through devices like Microsoft HoloLens. Action sequence encoding schemes with Mahalanobis distance-based features and Radon transform facilitate robust human activity recognition for future household robotic assistants.
What is a conversational storytelling interview?
5 answers
A conversational storytelling interview is a method used in social investigation to collect personal narratives in various contexts, aiming to reconstruct facts and capture emotions expressed by individuals. This technique allows interviewees to control the direction, content, and pace of the interview, enabling a deeper understanding of their experiences and behaviors. Conversational storytelling plays a significant role in performing illocutionary acts in everyday talk, such as making a point, building rapport, and reducing face threat. Additionally, large-scale conversational datasets like 'Interview' collected from news interview transcripts have been shown to improve the performance of language models in modeling real-world conversations, making them more engaging and responsive. Overall, conversational storytelling interviews offer rich insights into human experiences and behaviors, fostering connections and potentially driving positive changes in various realities.
How efficiently build up the on-premise LLM system to support for enterprise knowledge based bot?
5 answers
To efficiently build an on-premise Large Language Model (LLM) system supporting enterprise knowledge-based bots, organizations can leverage digital technologies for managing information effectively. Additionally, an adaptive testing framework inspired by Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) can be employed to evaluate LLMs accurately, adjusting test question characteristics based on model performance. Furthermore, Schema-Guided Prompting (SGP-TOD) offers a training-free strategy for effortlessly constructing task-oriented dialog systems based on LLMs, achieving state-of-the-art zero-shot performance without task-specific data and adapting to new functionalities with ease. By integrating these approaches, enterprises can establish a robust on-premise LLM system to enhance knowledge-based bot capabilities efficiently.
What are the methods to create a stereoscopic vision in teleoperation?
5 answers
To create stereoscopic vision in teleoperation, several methods have been proposed in research. One approach involves utilizing real-time 3D stereoscopic visual feedback to provide operators with depth information about the remote working environment. Another method includes using a stereoscopic vision device with image capture devices and a processor to determine depth and color information of the environment. Additionally, a stereoscopic imaging method involves acquiring convergence disparity values, generating a disparity transformation model, and synthesizing images into a stereoscopic view.
