We argue that Multi-agent technology can be used to handle the required communication successfully among related persons in the agricultural sector.
Further findings indicate a lack of stakeholder analysis in designing agricultural communication projects and an absence of a multi-media communication approach to enhance adoption of agricultural innovations.
With the proposed context model, developers can easily implement context-aware agricultural services through idiomatic communication with device-to-device, sensor-to-sensor, or sensor-to-service in agricultural environments.
The study has implications for agricultural communication media policy.
It demystifies the concepts of communication, rural and agricultural development.

What is the impact of biotic factors in plant growth and crop production?
4 answers
Biotic factors, such as plant diseases caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, and nematodes, significantly impact plant growth and crop production. These biotic stresses pose a threat to plants, affecting their growth and development by triggering intricate physiological, molecular, and cellular adaptations for survival. On the other hand, fungi, including Alternaria, Aspergillus, Cladosporium, and others, can be beneficial as sources of growth-promoting substances and enzymes. Moreover, the application of fungi as biological agents to control plant pathogens is well-documented, showcasing their role in managing nutrient cycling and enhancing crop productivity while minimizing the negative impacts of chemical fertilizers. Understanding and managing these biotic factors are crucial for ensuring optimal plant health and maximizing crop yields in agricultural systems.
How does the Saunders Research Onion Model approach data analysis?
4 answers
The Saunders Research Onion Model approaches data analysis by utilizing visual and verbal metaphors, stories, and myths to uncover layers of meaning in research. It emphasizes the collection of stories through methods like focus groups, interviews, and artifacts to capture myth descriptions and create a typography of organizational stories. On the other hand, the approach proposed by Piwowar and Jurkowski integrates multiple data types like transcriptomics and metabolomics using pathway and network analysis to group data with moderate stringency, enabling robust statistical analysis and interpretation of associations between metabolites and genes. Additionally, Hindarti et al. focus on forecasting onion production trends and technical efficiency levels in farming, emphasizing the importance of using inputs efficiently to increase productivity. These diverse approaches collectively showcase the multifaceted strategies employed in data analysis within different research domains.
How indigenous knowledge in sustainable hunting and gathering methods?
5 answers
Indigenous knowledge plays a crucial role in sustainable hunting and gathering methods by incorporating traditional practices, cultural norms, and belief systems. This knowledge is often complementary to community-based conservation approaches, enhancing wildlife conservation practices and social-ecological resilience. Indigenous communities, like the Maijuna in the Amazon, have a deep understanding of the significance of resources like mineral licks, utilizing them for subsistence and income generation while maintaining exclusive access to specific areas. By merging traditional ecological knowledge with conservation strategies, such as community-based approaches, indigenous hunters can contribute to wildlife management, ensuring the sustainability of natural resources for future generations. This integration of indigenous knowledge with modern conservation efforts not only benefits biodiversity but also respects cultural traditions and promotes effective resource management.
