Through the integration, the supply chain of MRO can be achieved lowest cost, highest efficiency, to improve the competitiveness of the supply chain purposes.
The results also show that when information is shared across a supply chain that implements a MRP system, the cost reduction is significant in comparison with no information sharing especially under cyclical and highly variable demand patterns.
This is a crucial issue in supply planning with MRP approach because inappropriate planned lead times under lead time uncertainties invariably lead to large and costly inventories or insufficient customer service levels.
The study thus demonstrates how supply chain planning can aid in resolving supply chain problems.
These notions can be beneficial for academician or organizations that are involve in Supply Chain Management business.
Our findings have important implications for managers and users of MRP.
Finally, the benefits obtained in a particular case and conclude that the MRP, when properly used are presented, provides a solution for SMEs in areas such as minimizing inventory costs and supply at the required time.
The findings of the current study may permit MRP managers and users to obtain a better understanding of MRP promoters, suggest some ideas for further research and acquaint the reader elsewhere in the world how manufacturing companies in less developed countries such as Egypt are implementing new production management systems like MRP systems.
