Both SAPs combined produce a highly implementable versatile SAP.
This will render the human component of the SAP resource imperfectly mobile and increase the capability of the firm to leverage this resource in order to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. A second prescription which emerges from the analysis is that it is preferable to modify the business processes of the organization to fit the capabilities provided by the SAP system, rather than modify the SAP system to fit the reengineered business processes of the organization.
The implications of this study are that: a) companies should be aware of the usefulness and advantages of providing graphical information for the benefit of various user groups; b) it may timely for the accounting regulatory bodies to propose a minimum/adequate level of graphical information using selected items of high importance to users of annual reports; and to formulate suitable guidelines in order to standardise the presentation of graphical information in annual reports of companies.

What is a mergers and acquisitions (M?
5 answers
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) refer to the strategic processes of companies combining through purchases or mergers to form a new entity, aiming to achieve growth, reduce costs, expand market share, enter new markets, and capitalize on economies of scale. These transactions involve changes in ownership, unification of operations, or transfer of control stakes. M&A activities have been increasingly utilized by firms to gain competitive advantages, access new technologies, and enhance shareholder value. The M&A landscape includes private M&A, public M&A, corporate reorganizations, and merger control, each with distinct features and legal considerations. Despite the potential benefits, studies have shown that acquiring firms may overpay during M&As compared to the synergistic gains realized post-acquisition, impacting shareholder value.

What is the relationship between the cost of capital and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in companies?
5 answers
The relationship between a firm's cost of capital and its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors is significant. Studies indicate that higher ESG scores are associated with lower costs of equity capital. Additionally, ESG practices have been found to have a notable negative impact on borrowing costs, implying that transparent ESG disclosure can lead to more favorable terms for accessing external financial resources. Moreover, the impact of ESG on the cost of capital is negative and statistically significant, with environmental and social aspects playing a crucial role in determining the level of the cost of capital in Southeast Asian countries. However, in the case of Russian companies, news about ESG investments did not lead to a rise in stock returns, suggesting that investors in Russia do not consider ESG projects as a key criterion for increasing investment attractiveness.
How to visualize the structure of a collection of documents in maps?
5 answers
To visualize the structure of a collection of documents in maps, various approaches can be employed. One method involves incorporating both text and graph information to capture semantic content and network relationships simultaneously. Another technique includes using topology-based visualizations to illustrate high-dimensional clustering structures without occlusion, preserving primary features. Additionally, a novel approach utilizes hierarchically structured semantic concepts attached to documents to create a map resembling a Google Map, enabling scalability and semantic abstraction levels. Furthermore, a visualization scheme called VOROSOM organizes maps hierarchically based on document categories, reflecting semantic affinities and supporting exploration within categories and subcategories. Lastly, a study demonstrates transforming a large document corpus into a visually engaging and conceptually stimulating map, validated by domain experts.
