It is shown that the radar has a potential ability in imaging objects placed in the near range.

Having most of the signal sources in our passive radar environment it is possible to detect and to localize objects of interest.

The results show that the radar is able to detect and locate multiple targets behind walls.

In particular, these results can be used in radar systems with high distance resolution, when detecting physical objects, including hidden ones.

The radar method presented here is robust and can easily be adapted to different radar frequencies and data-acquisition geometries.

To the best of our knowledge this is the first attempt to investigate object detection with raw radar data for conventional corner automotive radars.
