Cite as you write using other reference management tools

There are more than 30 reference management tools that researcher use because of their specific publishing and collaboration needs. All of them can be used along with SciSpace to format your research paper.

• If your reference management tool provides an option for Endnote-XML export, it can be directly uploaded to your SciSpace account to cite directly.
• If your reference library allows exports only in RIS format, convert them into XML format by uploading them in Endnote and exporting in XML
• There are a few reference management tools that provide exports only in BibTeX formats. You can directly paste the BibTeX code in SciSpace to upload your references.

Steps to get started

Step 1

After exporting your references in XML format, upload it into your SciSpace account. You can see your references in your Manuscript editor. Copy-paste your manuscript from word editor to SciSpace. Select the journal you want to publish in among the 50,000+ formats available on SciSpace.

Step 2

Place the cursor at the end of the text you want to cite and click the reference. Your citation will automatically be recorded with chronological numbering and styled as per publisher guidelines. You bibliography will be generated with your formatted paper.
