TL;DR: 3D vision based active antenna that can detect the contact force and the contact point between an insensitive elastic antenna and a 3D environment is discussed and it is shown that the coupling effect between vision and moment sensor depends on the implementation angle of the CCD camera.
Abstract: This paper discusses the 3D vision based active antenna (3D-VBAA) that can detect the contact force and the contact point between an insensitive elastic antenna and a 3D environment. The 3D-VBAA is composed of an insensitive flexible antenna, two actuators, two position sensors, a camera, and a one-axis moment sensor. By utilizing the antenna's shape mapped into the calibration, plane C, the vision sensor can provide both the contact distance and a force component on C. The moment sensor output allows us to evaluate the force component normal to C. The 3D-VBAA can work even under a compliant object, while the 3D active antenna cannot. We show that the coupling effect between vision and moment sensor depends on the implementation angle of the CCD camera. We verify our idea experimentally.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a utility model consisting of a vertical monopole and two loop antennas which are orthogonal on horizontal plane, and the amplifying device of loop antenna adopt integrated chip of high ratio performance and price, which is simple in circuit, convenient in debugging and low in cost.
Abstract: The utility model discloses a monopole or orthogonal active loop antenna, which relates to a high frequency minitype antenna. The utility model consists of a vertical monopole and two loop antenna which is orthogonal on horizontal plane. The amplifying device of loop antenna is a band pass amplifying device which makes the low noise broad bond transconductance amplifier IC with high import impedance as the core composing. The three antenna units are orthogonal with each other and have the same phase center. The export thereof synthesize heart-shaped beam by specifically signal le processing in the radar receiver to realize the radar detection and bearing scanning conveniently. The antenna features that compact structure, small occupy area and convenient in erection and maintenance. And the amplifying device of loop antenna adopt integrated chip of high ratio performance and price, which is simple in circuit, convenient in debugging and low in cost. Otherwise, the waterproof of the FRP has high intensity, anti-ultraviolet property, anti-salt spray corrosion property and long service life. Therefore, the utility model has wild application prospect.

TL;DR: The new radio spectrum, RF characteristics, implementation considerations of the NR base stations and the devices as well as the hardware technologies that are used to implement various features of the new radio are discussed.
Abstract: The NR RF characteristics are closely related to the frequency bands in which the 5G systems will be deployed. Due to wide range of the target frequency bands, spectrum flexibility was required in order to operate in diverse spectrum allocations. Such spectrum flexibility is manifested as the possibility of deployment and resource allocations in frequency bands of different sizes over an extremely wide range of contiguous or non-contiguous spectrum, both in the form of paired and unpaired frequency bands along with aggregation of different spectrum blocks within and across different bands. The NR has the capability to operate with mixed OFDM numerologies over the same or different RF carrier(s) and has relatively more flexibility compared to LTE in terms of frequency-domain scheduling and multiplexing of devices over the serving base station RF carrier(s). The use of OFDM waveform in NR provides the desired flexibility in terms of the size of the spectrum allocation and the instantaneous transmission bandwidth adaptation. The application of active antenna system concept and multiple antennas in the base stations and the devices, which emerged during LTE development, has taken a giant leap in NR with the support of massive MIMO and control/data channel beamforming both in the existing LTE bands and in the new mmWave bands. Aside from physical layer design implications, the advent of the latter features significantly impact the analog/digital RF hardware system design/implementation including filters, amplifiers, data converters, antennas, etc. In this chapter, we will discuss the new radio spectrum, RF characteristics, implementation considerations of the NR base stations and the devices as well as the hardware technologies that are used to implement various features of the new radio.

TL;DR: In this article, an active device 9-6 and an excitation antenna element 9-1 are formed into an integral structure, the excitation active antenna 9 is disposed on a metal plate 7, and the metal plate seven has a structure, formed of hollow pipes which are joined together in parallel crosses.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problem of an active phased array antenna unable to have a heat dissipating structure that is thin and light in weight, when using a high-output power amplifier which releases a large amount of heat. SOLUTION: An active device 9-6 and an excitation antenna element 9-1 are formed into an excitation active antenna 9 of integral structure, the excitation active antenna 9 is disposed on a metal plate 7, and the metal plate 7 has a structure, formed of hollow pipes which are joined together in parallel crosses. A coupling antenna plate 4, on which coupling antenna elements 3 are formed, is arranged above the excitation active antenna 9, and a radiation antenna plate 2, on which radiation antenna elements 1 are formed, is arranged above the coupling antenna plate 4, so that a power is fed to the radiation antenna elements 1 from the coupling antenna elements 3 by stabling electromagnetic coupling.
