TL;DR: In this paper, the T-duality of the AdS5 sigma model is discussed and a field dependent gauge transformation is proposed to eliminate the explicit coordinate dependence along the Tduality directions of the associated Lax connection.
Abstract: We discuss an interplay between T-duality and integrability for certain classical non-linear sigma models. In particular, we consider strings on the AdS5 ? S5 background and perform T-duality along the four isometry directions of AdS5 in the Poincar? patch. The T-dual of the AdS5 sigma model is again a sigma model on an AdS5 space. This classical T-duality relation was used in the recently uncovered connection between light-like Wilson loops and MHV gluon scattering amplitudes in the strong coupling limit of the AdS/CFT duality. We show that the explicit coordinate dependence along the T-duality directions of the associated Lax connection (flat current) can be eliminated by means of a field dependent gauge transformation. As a result, the gauge equivalent Lax connection can easily be T-dualized, i.e. written in terms of the dual set of isometric coordinates. The T-dual Lax connection can be used for the derivation of infinitely many conserved charges in the T-dual model. Our construction implies that local (Noether) charges of the original model are mapped to non-local charges of the T-dual model and vice versa.

TL;DR: In this article, the sphere partition functions of TT deformed large N conformal field theories in d = 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 dimensions, computed using the flow equation, are shown to non-perturbatively match with bulk computations of AdS${d+1}$ with a finite radial cutoff.
Abstract: We consider sphere partition functions of TT deformed large N conformal field theories in d = 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 dimensions, computed using the flow equation. These are shown to non-perturbatively match with bulk computations of AdS$_{d+1}$ with a finite radial cut-off. We then demonstrate how the flow equation can be independently derived from a regularization procedure of defining TT operators through a local Callan-Symanzik equation. Finally, we show that the sphere partition functions, modulo bulk-counterterm contributions, can be reproduced from Wheeler-DeWitt wave functions.

TL;DR: In this paper, a free Rarita-Schwinger field in the anti-de-sitter space is considered and the usual action can be supplemented by a boundary term that can be interpreted as the generating functional of the correlation functions in a conformal field theory on the boundary of the Anti-de Sitter space.

TL;DR: In this paper, a low energy iteration scheme to study nonlinear gravity in the brane world is developed, and the relation between the geometrical approach and the approach using the AdS/CFT correspondence is clarified.
Abstract: A low energy iteration scheme to study nonlinear gravity in the brane world is developed. As a result, we obtain the brane world effective action at low energies. The relation between the geometrical approach and the approach using the AdS/CFT correspondence is also clarified. In particular, we find generalized dark radiation as homogeneous solutions in our iteration scheme. Moreover, the precise correspondence between the bulk geometry and the brane effective action is established, which gives a holographic view of the brane world.

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that generic corrections lead to a re-emergent AdS{sub 2} x R{sup 2} geometry, where the Lifshitz scaling characterizes the physics over a wide range of energy scales but the mild singularity is cured by quantum or stringy effects.
Abstract: Via the AdS/CFT correspondence, ground states of field theories at finite charge density are mapped to extremal black brane solutions. Studies of simple gravity + matter systems in this context have uncovered wide new classes of extremal geometries. The Lifshitz metrics characterizing field theories with non-trivial dynamical critical exponent z {ne} 1 emerge as one common endpoint in doped holographic toy models. However, the Lifshitz horizon exhibits mildly singular behaviour - while curvature invariants are finite, there are diverging tidal forces. Here we show that in some of the simplest contexts where Lifshitz metrics emerge, Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theories, generic corrections lead to a replacement of the Lifshitz metric, in the deep infrared, by a re-emergent AdS{sub 2} x R{sup 2} geometry. Thus, at least in these cases, the Lifshitz scaling characterizes the physics over a wide range of energy scales, but the mild singularity is cured by quantum or stringy effects.
