TL;DR: In this article, the holographic three-point functions in super-Yang-Mills theory were calculated in the case when two of the operators are semiclassical and one is dual to a supergravity mode.
Abstract: We calculate the holographic three-point functions in $ \mathcal{N} = 4 $ super-Yang-Mills theory in the case when two of the operators are semiclassical and one is dual to a supergravity mode. We further discuss the transition to the regime when all three operators are semiclassical.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe new non-supersymmetric conformal field theories in three and four dimensions, using the CFT/AdS correspondence, and explicitly check the stability of the corresponding non-SUPERSymmetric anti-de Sitter backgrounds.
Abstract: We describe new non-supersymmetric conformal field theories in three and four dimensions, using the CFT/AdS correspondence. In order to believe in their existence at large N_c and strong 't Hooft coupling, we explicitly check the stability of the corresponding non-supersymmetric anti-de Sitter backgrounds. Cases of particular interest are the relevant deformations of the N=4 SCFT in SU(3) and SO(5) invariant directions. It turns out that the former is a stable, and the latter an unstable non-supersymmetric type IIB background.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate how entanglement spreads in time-dependent states of a 1+1 dimensional conformal field theory (CFT) and show that any theory with c > 1 has diminished memory effects compared to the rational models.
Abstract: We investigate how entanglement spreads in time-dependent states of a 1+1 dimensional conformal field theory (CFT). The results depend qualitatively on the value of the central charge. In rational CFTs, which have central charge below a critical value, entanglement entropy behaves as if correlations were carried by free quasiparticles. This leads to long-term memory effects, such as spikes in the mutual information of widely separated regions at late times. When the central charge is above the critical value, the quasiparticle picture fails. Assuming no extended symmetry algebra, any theory with c > 1 has diminished memory effects compared to the rational models. In holographic CFTs, with c ≫ 1, these memory effects are eliminated altogether at strong coupling, but reappear after the scrambling time t ≳ β log c at weak coupling.

TL;DR: It is shown that a set of old conjectures about symmetries in quantum gravity hold within the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory correspondence, which are not obviously true from a bulk perspective, but are nontrivial consequences of the nonperturbative consistency of the correspondence.
Abstract: In this Letter we show that a set of old conjectures about symmetries in quantum gravity hold within the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory correspondence. These conjectures are that no global symmetries are possible, that internal gauge symmetries must come with dynamical objects that transform in all irreducible representations, and that internal gauge groups must be compact. These conjectures are not obviously true from a bulk perspective, they are nontrivial consequences of the nonperturbative consistency of the correspondence. More details of and background for these arguments are presented in an accompanying paper.
