Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-coding method which outputs image data and an alpha channel in a single file form for compressing and coding an image and the alpha channel accompanying therewith, and takes out an alpha channel corresponding to a reduced image, without converting the resolution for further taking out reduced image data of low resolutions therefrom lower than a fixed value SOLUTION: The image coding method of compressing and coding input image data, composed of a plurality of components comprises a step of adding an alpha channel having mask information recorded per pixel for forming a composite image to the input image data as a new component, coding image data, containing a plurality of components and the new component after converting the resolutions thereof in an hierarchical form, thereby forming an integrated image file COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for obtaining an image file including an alpha channel using a photographic camera. The method comprises the steps placing an object on a surface of a platform; illuminating a background of an object placed on the platform in a first color; taking a first image of an object; illuminating a background of an object placed on the platform in a second color; taking a second image of an object; creating transparency values between a first transparency value for a transparent pixel and a second transparency value for a non-transparent pixel from said first and second images; characterized by the steps taking a separate image with the photographic cam- era of an object placed on the platform different from said first and the second image; and creating an image file including an alpha channel based on said separate image and the transparency values obtained from said first and second images.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a detection unit configured to detect a blur of an image-capturing apparatus, a change in a subject brightness, or a change in a color of a subject, an image-capturing control unit configured to perform control so that the image-capturing apparatus performs image-capturing a plurality of times in accordance with a single image-capturing command, a composite unit configured to composite a plurality of images captured in accordance with the single image-capturing command, and a control unit configured such that when the control unit obtains information indicating that a predetermined blur, a change in a predetermined subject brightness, or a change in a color of a predetermined subject is detected based on a detection result, the control unit controls the composite unit so as to generate a composition image made by compositing a plurality of images captured before the detection.

Abstract: The invention relates to an image matting and background changing method in an online education scene. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining an original image and a background material image; extracting rough foreground pixels through the edge features; utilizing the HSV color space to obtain updated accurate background pixels and accurate foreground pixels, and setting the transparency of an Alpha channel of the background pixels in the original image as full transparency; and superposing the color value of the original image and the color value of the background material imageaccording to the Alpha channel image of the background image to obtain a superposed image. The invention also provides a corresponding client and a corresponding system which can be used for dynamically configuring the teaching scene in the teaching scene by the user. According to the image matting method, the client and the system provided by the embodiment of the invention, background pixels aredetected in a texture + color mode, and the image matting method, the client and the system have the advantages of high anti-interference performance, wide application range and the like. A pluralityof dynamic or static scene materials can be added, and the sequence of the materials is displayed according to the levels of the materials.
