TL;DR: This work presents a sketch-based approach to find matching source images for seamless image composition, by leveraging a large amount of image corpus collected from the Internet.
Abstract: We present a sketch-based approach to find matching source images for seamless image composition, by leveraging a large amount of image corpus collected from the Internet. Given a target image where the user draws a rough sketch to indicate the desired object fill-in, our system automatically searches a large image database, and returns a sparse set of matching images. These matching images contain salient regions semantically similar to the usersupplied sketch. Once the user has selected the preferred source region, it will be seamlessly pasted onto the target image where the sketch is drawn.

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of image compositing using only one graphics processing section is solved by generating a graphics image signal or a signal on which graphics image information is superimposed and composites the signal with a video signal independently of whether the video signal selected among a plurality of video signals is an analog signal or digital signal.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image compositing device that uses only one graphics processing section so as to generate a graphics image signal or a signal on which graphics image information is superimposed and composites the signal with a video signal independently of whether the video signal selected among a plurality of video signals is an analog signal or a digital signal. SOLUTION: A graphics processing section 1 that receives a digital broadcast reception video image to composite graphics images, generates a graphics image of an analog broadcast reception video image, generates a switching signal to composite the graphics images, allows a multiplexer 7 to composite the images by using the switching signal to obtain the video signal resulting from compositing the graphics image onto the analog broadcast reception video image. Furthermore, the graphics image information is superimposed for an invalid display period of the video signal to select the composite of the graphics images.

TL;DR: A method has been proposed using which a large size secret image can be hidden into small size of cover image securely, achieving the absolute invisibility of the large sizesecret image.
Abstract: In this paper, a method has been proposed using which a large size secret image (containing hidden encrypted message) can be hidden into small size of cover image securely. The main aim here is the absolute invisibility of the large size secret image. The proposed method does not require the sender to send the cover image to the receiver for obtaining the secret image.

TL;DR: In this article, overlay images that produce specific effects, such as highlights that provide a 3D appearance or resemble reflections on glass, are created and stored in advance, separately from existing widget images.
Abstract: In the present invention, overlay images that produce specific effects, such as highlights that provide a 3D appearance or resemble reflections on glass, are created and stored in advance, separately from existing widget images for widgets such as graph widgets and switch widgets. A given overlay image is associated in advance with a given widget image, and when that widget image is displayed on a programmable display, the associated overlay image is combined with the widget image in a transparent manner (using alpha blending or the like).
