TL;DR: H(3)NBH( 3) functions as a source of hydrogen for the hydrogenation of N-heterocyclic carbenes and germylenes.
Abstract: The reaction of L′Si [L′ = CH{(C═CH2)(CMe)(2,6-iPr2C6H3N)2}] with ammonia under oxidative addition results in L′Si(H)NH2. H3NBH3 functions as a source of hydrogen for the hydrogenation of N-heterocyclic carbenes and germylenes.

TL;DR: Nitrification rate was unaffected by the incubation of soil with inorganic ammonium but was significantly stimulated by the addition of organic N, and ammonia monooxygenase-dependent activity was completely inhibited by 0.01% acetylene in all treatments, indicating ammonia mono oxygenase- dependent activity.

TL;DR: It is concluded that the hydrogen production is possible at high concentrations (up to 7.8 g N/L) of ammonia in continuous flow systems as long as the reactor is initially acclimated to a lower ammonia concentration.
