TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the relationship between social and family risk factors and behavioral characteristics in pre-schoolers and found that children from families with a low o very low socioeconomic and cultural level have more behavioural problems than those from families from a medium o high socioeconomic and culture level.
Abstract: The objective of this study is the analysis of the relationship between social and family risk factors and behavioural characteristics in pre-schoolers. Data have been obtained from a sample of 471 children, from the information provided by their teachers through the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ - Goodman). Results indicate that children from families with a low o very low socioeconomic and cultural level have more behavioural problems than those from families with a medium o high socioeconomic and cultural level. The main conclusion is that there is a relationship between the social and family environment and the psychological and behavioural distress of preschoolers, which could be the antecedent of later problems.

TL;DR: In this article, it is shown that in the Sophist Plato develops a dialectical strategy that appeals to necessary conditions of language as a fundamental step toward establishing some principles of his ontology.
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to show that in the Sophist Plato develops a dialectical strategy that appeals to necessary conditions of language as a fundamental step toward establishing some principles of his ontology. This strategy constitutes a clear antecedent of the elenctic refutation offered by Aristotle in Metaphysics Gamma 4 against the denier of the principle of non-contradiction and could be described as transcendental because it refers to conditions without which there wouldn’t be any speech. The paper aims to show that such a strategy is used both by Plato and Aristotle to deal with radical adversaries whose refutation allows the establishment of basic theses of their own philosophies.

TL;DR: Through empirical research, this study successfully verified the reliability and validity of items created to measure social ties, and it demonstrated the facilitating effects of social ties as an antecedent on customers' procedural and relational switching costs.
Abstract: The effects of customers' social ties on switching costs have recently attracted researchers' attention. This study formally included customers' social ties as a new antecedent to supplement those elucidated by Burnham in 2003. Through empirical research, this study successfully verified the reliability and validity of items created to measure social ties, and it demonstrated the facilitating effects of social ties as an antecedent on customers' procedural and relational switching costs. Finally, the study lists managerial implications aimed at retaining customers through knowledge of this added antecedent.

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of discursive context in processing of sentence comprehension are investigated, in order to determine if the processor is strictly syntactic in its initial analysis or if it already accesses information of semantic and discursive nature in time to influence the syntactic analysis.
Abstract: The time course of the subprocesses of sentence comprehension is investigated, in order to determine if the processor is strictly syntactic in its initial analysis or if it already accesses information of semantic and discursive nature in time to influence the syntactic analysis. Two experimental studies are reviewed with speakers of Brazilian Portuguese, to assess the effects of discursive context in processing. The first revisits ambiguous Prepositional Phrases and finds effect of the previous context only in the final measures, which monitor the interpretation. The second uses the eye-tracking technique to gauge the antecedent search for the subject of clauses with a verb in the inflected infinitive, finding effect of the previous discourse both in the off-line and in the online measures. Possible reasons for the differences between the discourse effects in the two experiments are discussed.

TL;DR: This paper presents the method of semantic relations identification by solving the anaphora, specifically to determine the nature of relations between sentences in scientific texts.
Abstract: This paper presents the method of semantic relations identification by solving the anaphora, specifically to determine the nature of relations between sentences in scientific texts. Authors explored the use of the pronoun "anaphora", developed a mathematical predicate model to determine the anaphora and antecedent and described the relationships between them for fragments in the Ukrainian language. Authors conducted an experiment based on the developed model and the logical network that was build based on presented predicate model.
