TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the human resource management practice promoting organizational innovation, and gave a clue to understand how these factors shape innovation in organizations, and examined the relationship between HR management practice and organizational innovation operation in china.
Abstract: Innovation research has advanced recently, scholars tried to uncover the antecedent factors of organizational innovation. It is argued that innovation in firms should be associated with the intelligence and the capabilities of the workforce, nevertheless, there are still few empirical research explore the relationship between human resource management practice and organizational innovation operation in china.Drawing on review of relative literature, the study examines the human resource management practice promoting organizational innovation, and give a clue to understand how these factors shape innovation in organizations.

TL;DR: An experimental study on the interpretation of the complement anaphora the others in inter-sentential discourse and what is the most accurate logical and psychological model of this aspect of grammar is presented.
Abstract: This paper presents an experimental study on the interpretation of the complement anaphora the others in inter-sentential discourse. It aims to offer an answer to the following two empirical questions. First, how complement anaphora denote the “complement set”, a set of referents that includes those referents not denoted by the matching anaphoric antecedent. Second, what are the exact interpretation principles that govern the anaphoric potential of complement anaphora. The answers to these two questions shed light on how complement anaphora fit into a broader theory of anaphora resolution, and what is the most accurate logical and psychological model of this aspect of grammar.

TL;DR: In this article, the role of the antecedent and context as actualizers of the personal pronoun value is reduced to zero, and the amount of additional information that the components attached to the pronoun carry increases significantly.
Abstract: If the role of the actualizer of the personal pronoun value is fully assumed by the antecedent and context, the additional information of the components attached to the pronoun may be zero; The personal pronoun can perform a substitution function. If the role of the antecedent and context as actualizers of the personal pronoun value is reduced to zero, then the amount of additional information that the components attached to the personal pronoun carry increases significantly; The personal pronoun is generally not a substitute. Here, the components attached to the personal pronoun add little new information to it; They simply incorporate a pronoun into some commonality of persons or objects.

TL;DR: The necessity of a semantic consideration for a proper explanation of the anaphoric difference between VPE and Sluicing is confirmed.
Abstract: This study explores Merchant"s (2001, 2004, 2008) Island Repair approach for VPE and sluicing and attempts to show its problems, by critically reviewing the notions of i) MaxElide and ii) Scope parallelism between the antecedent clause and the focus structure of the elided clause suggested by Merchant. This study thereby confirms the necessity of a semantic consideration for a proper explanation of the anaphoric difference between VPE and Sluicing. A supplementary argumentation is provided for Event Semantics account proposed by Wee (2015), which claims for the event semantic difference between the two elliptical constructions.

TL;DR: The authors investigate when the combination of semantic overlap between antecedents and anaphors and antecedent focus leads to difficulty in online anaphor resolution and find that readers' expectations about thematic shifts also influence the processing.
Abstract: The goal of this study is to better understand when (and why) the combination of semantic overlap between antecedent and anaphor and antecedent focus leads to difficulty in anaphor processing. To investigate these questions, three ERP experiments manipulating semantic overlap and focus compared the ERPs from the onset of the anaphor as well as from the onset of the last word in the sentence containing the anaphor. Our results suggest that although the focus status of an antecedent and the semantic overlap between the antecedent and anaphor are important, these factors are not the only significant contributors to online anaphor resolution. Factors such as readers‘ expectations about thematic shifts also influence the processing. We consider our results in relation to two accounts of anaphor resolution, the Informational Load Hypothesis (Almor, 1999; Almor & Eimas, 2008) and JANUS (Garnham & Cowles, 2008).
