Showing papers on "Antimonide published in 1984"

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a study of antimony segregation in iron and its alloys is presented, and the results show that nickel clearly enhances antimony separation, as had previously been thought, while adding chromium to Fe-Ni alloys cause an additional enhancement of segregation.

TL;DR: The behavior of systems with competing interactions has recently provided considerable interest as mentioned in this paper, and experiments on, for example, cerium antimonide 2, silicon carbide 3 and graphite intercalation compounds have shown that a fine balance between different interactions can lead to a compound exhibiting many different stable thermodynamic phases as the external parameters are varied.
