Abstract: The electrical conductivity and 19F and 1H nmr spectra of the hydrogen fluoride–antimony pentafluoride system are accounted for in terms of the reactions 2HF + SbF5 H2F++ SbF6–, and SbF6–+nSbF5→[Sbn+1 F5n+1]– It is shown that the ion H2F+ has an abnormally high mobility and therefore probably conducts by a proton-transfer mechanism SbF4SO3F undergoes solvolysis according to the equation SbF4SO3F + 3HF → H2F++ SbF6–+ HSO3F

TL;DR: In this article, a solvent extraction separation of antimony and bismuth from aqueous acidic solutions with Cyanex 302 in toluene was carried out, where antimony(III) was observed in the acidic range of 0.1-1.0 ǫ 0.5 m H 2 SO 4 with 8.5×10 −2 m Cyanex-302 in the organic phase and determined spectrophotometrically by the iodide method at 425 nm.

TL;DR: In this article, the potential-pH diagrams for the systems MAs ǫ 2 O and Sǫ sbǫ h 2 O are established for conditions which are close to the operating conditions, and the chemistry of the purification process is deduced from the potential pH diagrams, and then a comparison between arsenic and antimony trioxide purification is made based on the experimental results.
