Abstract: The dimensional relationships in a two-components zoom lenses are obtained. Application of analytical expressions relationship between the main aberration parameters and aberration parameters of the arbitrary position components allows to make an analysis of change the value of aberrations when you change transverse magnification image in the particular case where the distance between axial object and image points is equal to zero.

Abstract: GRIN lenses represent an interesting alternative to conventional spherical lenses since the lens performance depends on a continuous change of the refractive index within the lens material. This paper using of the high-index-of-refraction lanthanum crown glass (SLS-1.0) which helps to reduce spherical aberration the design and analysis the gradient – index lenses by using Zemax software that we can see the changing in refractive index. wave length extends from (0.500 to 0.600) μm and diffraction limited over a large field of angles with F/#2.5 that have been studied in this research .This paperdeals how to design and analysis work and how to take advantage of gradient index image applications,which helps to reduce the modulation of the refractive-index profile.

Abstract: A novel lens system with correction of secondary spectrum without using anomalous glasses is presented. The lens system comprises four separated lens components, with three of them being subapertures. Two examples of apochromatic telescope are presented, both with the use of typical normal glasses, namely crown K9 and flint F5 glasses, and low-cost slightly anomalous dispersion glasses. Secondary spectrum and other chromatic aberrations of the two design examples are corrected.

Abstract: A new improved design method of the panoramic annular lens(PAL) with cemented lenses was introduced.The structure was not only helpful to improve the freedom of design of PAL which could take charge of partial chromatic aberration,simplify the structure of relay lens group,but also reduce stray light and the volume of the whole optical system while enlarging the field of view of system.The chromatic aberration and the field of view of PAL was investigated theoretically.Method of selecting new cemented glasses of PAL was also discussed.A doublet PAL and its relay lens group with a total effective focal length of 10.3 mm were designed.The total length was 170 mm,and the diameter of PAL was 70 mm.The spectral range was from 0.486 μm to 0.656 μm,which was coincident with the visible light.To get bright and clear image,the aperture of the system was set to f/3.7.Relay lens group consisted of 8 pieces of lenses,with a back focal length(BFL) of 17 mm.The result shows that the aberrations are corrected well.
