TL;DR: In the cavities of unprecedentedly functionalised, spherical, porous capsules of the type {Pentagon} 12{Linker}30 identical with [{(Mo)Mo5O21(H2O)6}12{Mo2O4(ligand)}30]n- reactions with the ligands can be performed, in the present case deliberate aquation/hydration and deprotonation reactions at the linker fragments.

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction of the monoalkyl complex trans-[Pt(DMSO)2Cl(CH3)] with a large variety of heterocyclic nitrogen bases L, in chloroform solution, leads to the formation of uncharged complexes of the type [PdMSO)(L)Cl (CH3)], containing four different groups coordinated to the metal center, and two out of the three possible isomers were detected in solution.
