TL;DR: In this article, the authors provided a comparison of the performance of ether-capped poly(oxyalkylated) alcohol surfactants having superior grease cleaning abilities and improved spotting/filming benefits.
Abstract: Compositions including ether-capped poly(oxyalkylated) alcohol surfactants having superior grease cleaning abilities and improved spotting/filming benefits are provided. The alcohol surfactants have the formula RO(R1O)aeR2 wherein, R is selected from the group consisting of linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon radicals having from about 1 to about 30 carbon atoms; R1 may be the same or different, and is independently selected from the group consisting of branched or linear C?2? to C7 alkylene in any given molecule; R?2? is selected from the group consisting of: (i) a 4 to 8 membered substituted, or unsubstituted heterocyclic ring containing from 1 to 3 hetero atoms; (ii) a 7 to 13 membered substituted, or unsubstituted polycyclic ring; (iii) a hydrocarbon of the formula —(CH?2?)y—X wherein, y is an integer from 1 to 7, X is a 4 to 8 membered substituted, or unsubstituted, saturated or unsaturated cyclic or aromatic hydrocarbon radical; and (iv) a hydrocarbon radical of the formula —C(CH3)2R?3? wherein R3 is selected from the group consisting of linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon radicals having from about 1 to about 30 carbon atoms, provided that when R3 is methyl, R is branched; wherein x is a number from 1 to about 30.

TL;DR: In this paper, the chemiluminescence of dimethyldioxetanone (1) in the presence of easily oxidized aromatic hydrocarbons was studied and the efficiency of light production was correlated with the one electron oxidation potential of the hydrocarbon.
Abstract: : The chemiluminescence of dimethyldioxetanone (1) in the presence of easily oxidized aromatic hydrocarbons was studied. It was observed that the rate of reaction of (1) depends upon the nature and concentration of the aromatic hydrocarbon. The efficiency of light production was correlated with the one electron oxidation potential of the hydrocarbon. These results are interpreted in terms of the recently described chemically initiated electron exchange luminescence. (Author)

TL;DR: In this article, a process for converting C 2 -C 4 paraffins into aromatic gasoline over a crystalline gallium silicate having a SiO 2 /Ga 2 O 3 molar ratio between 25 and 250, which silicate has been subjected once or several times to a two-stage treatment comprising reduction at a temperature of 400°-650° C.
Abstract: A process is disclosed for converting C 2 -C 4 paraffins into aromatic gasoline over a crystalline gallium silicate having a SiO 2 /Ga 2 O 3 molar ratio between 25 and 250, which silicate has been subjected once or several times to a two-stage treatment comprising reduction at a temperature of 400°-650° C. and oxidation at a temperature of 350°-700° C. Optionally the gallium silicate is subjected to precalcining at a temperature of 600°-1000° C., the number of times of the two-stage treatment being determined by the fact whether or not said gallium silicates have been subjected to such precalcination.
