TL;DR: In this article, a computer may receive characteristics information of an object in a video stream captured by a first computing device, generate a signature based on the characteristics information, identify an augmented reality information associated with the signature, transmit the AR information to the first computer device, and determine that the set of characteristics information from the second computing device has a second signature that matches the signature generated by the first device.
Abstract: According to an example, a computer may receive characteristics information of an object in a video stream captured by a first computing device, generate a signature based on the characteristics information, identify an augmented reality information associated with the signature, transmit the augmented reality information to the first computing device, receive, from a second computing device, a set of characteristics information of the object in an image captured by the second computing device, determine that the set of characteristics information from the second computing device has a second signature that matches the signature generated based on the characteristics information received form the first computing device, and transmit the identified augmented reality information to the second computing device.

Abstract: The application of augmented reality (AR) technology for assembly guidance is a novel approach in the traditional manufacturing domain. In this paper, we propose an AR approach for assembly guidance using a virtual interactive tool that is intuitive and easy to use. The virtual interactive tool, termed the virtual interaction panel (VirIP), is an easy-to-use tool that can be used to interactively control AR systems. The VirIP is composed of virtual buttons, which have meaningful assembly information that can be activated by an interaction pen during the assembly process. The interaction pen can be any general pen-like object with a certain colour distribution. It is tracked using a restricted coulomb energy (RCE) network in real-time and used to trigger the relevant buttons in the VirIPs for assembly guidance. Meanwhile, a visual assembly tree structure (VATS) is used for information management and assembly instructions retrieval in this AR environment. VATS is a hierarchical tree structure that can be ea...

TL;DR: The Multi Disparate Gesture Actions And Transactions Apparatuses, Methods And Systems (MDGAAT) as discussed by the authors transform gesture, video, and audio inputs via MDGAAT components into action, augmented reality, and transaction outputs.
Abstract: The Multi Disparate Gesture Actions And Transactions Apparatuses, Methods And Systems ("MDGAAT") transform gesture, video, and audio inputs via MDGAAT components into action, augmented reality, and transaction outputs. receiving from a wallet user multiple gesture actions within a specified temporal quantum; determining composite constituent gestures, gesture manipulated objects, and user account information from the received multiple gesture actions; determining via a processor a composite gesture action associated with the determined composite constituent gestures and gesture manipulated objects; and executing via a processor the composite gesture action to perform a transaction with a user account specified by the user account information.

TL;DR: In this paper, a projective display and video capture system provides video images to the users, which are then projected and reflected back to the user's eyes to view a local site in which they are located.
Abstract: A teleportal system which provides remote communication between at least two users. A projective display and video capture system provides video images to the users. The video system obtains and transmits 3D images which are stereoscopic to remote users. The projective display unit provides an augmented reality environment to each user and allows users to view, unobstructed, the other local users, and view a local site in which they are located. A screen transmits to the user the images generated by the projective display via a retro-reflective fabric upon which images are projected and reflected back to the user's eyes.
